My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Karen Huang -  AT THIS LINK  - told of a friend, Jocelyn, who had a food truck and had a special recipe for rice porridge which was her best-selling item.  But an assistant altered the recipe and stirred the recipe her own way; and Jocelyn reported getting complaints about the congee tasting different.       

     

God has a recipe for our lives, doesn’t He?; … And, as the Scriptures above attest, God has called His followers to stick to His recipe, which we find in His word.  And so, if you are,… as I am, … looking to get it right in life, … we need to follow Jesus by using His recipe and His word to make it right in life.  And as the linked song sings, I plan to follow Christ today - and tomorrow; - how about you?       

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me - thru Your word - how to follow You.    

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to use Your “GPS” and your recipe book (i.e., Your Word) to follow You, Lord, again today.   …  Amen
