My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Lisa M Samra - AT THIS LINK -shared what Seth Small, a young field goal kicker for Texas A&M, did to calm his nerves when he had to kick a last second field goal to win (or lose) the game in front of over 100,000 fans. Small reported after kicking the field goal to win the game that he simply recited Psalm 23:2 over and over … ”The Lord is my Shepherd. I have all that I need.”
Where do we get our strength in times of stress, trial, or trouble? Personally, that’s shy you, my readers, find me here EVERY DAY, … seeking God’s comfort and direction thru His word. When I’m confronted with trials or my weakness, just like Seth Small, kicking that last second field goal, … I get my strength and direction from my Good Shepherd. How about you?
