My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - AT THIS LINK - tells of friends, a couple, trying to have a child, and being recommended to have a medical procedure which the doctors felt would increase their likelihood of having a child. At first the coupl were reluctant, being Christians and not wanting to bypass God’s will in the process of seeking conception. But they realized that even with the medical procedure, they would still be partnering with God to have the child God wanted for them.
And that’s what the Disciples learned in the lessons God taught His disciples in the time God blessed a few fishes and loaves which ultimately fed thousands. God did the multiplying as Jesus’ disciples shared the food in service to God’s provision. God provides and we serve Him for His glory. That’s the divine partnership of faith we have with our Lord.
