My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  /James Banks … AT THIS LINK  told of how C.S., receiving and reading the manuscripts for <b>The Lord of the Rings</b> trilogy from his friend, J.R.R. Tolkien, encouraged his friend, writing to him, “All the long years you have spent on it are justified.” 

And then today’s ODB entry made reference to how Barnabas encouraged fellow brothers in Christ, shortly after Saul of Tarsus was converted and how Barnabas lifted him up to other Christians who were frightened of Paul’s reputation.  And it all, along with the linked song and the Scriptures above, calls on all of us Christians to do all we can to lift each other up with encouragement (see photo).  So, … what can we do or say to lift up or encourage someone today?       

                                                                    

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …thank you, Lord, for giving me the gifting and opportunity to lift someone up today.   

MY Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to lift someone up with encouragement.       … Amen
