My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Winn Collier, AT THIS LINK  writes about a Korean War Veteran, who had been declared dead for two years during that conflict, but ultimately was released from prison and returned joyously to his home and family.

And the ODB entry immediately reminded me of Jesus’ parable of the so-called “prodigal son,” [see Luke 15who returned to His Prodigal Father’s redeeming love and grace after years of sinful living.  And having been one who lived 22 years of my life mired in sinful living and one who was gracefully redeemed, as Big Daddy Weave sings in the linked son, I identify closely with the story of the returning “prodigal.”

And I pray that all reading here have come back home to the Father and have received His wondrous, prodigal grace and love; …  and I also pray that we’re out there in the world sharing our story of God’s redeeming grace with others.

If not, … COME BACK HOME, fellow Christian!!  God’s prodigal love and grace will be yours.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh Abba Father, ... thank You, Lord, … for lavishing Your redeeming love on me.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray that all reading here will join me to go out today and share our witness of God’s redeeming grace with others.  … Amen
