My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Alyson Kieda  -  AT THIS LINK  -    told of a visiting speaker in a church who related a true story of a Pastor who was jailed for 30 days because of a new law in his country which declared that teaching about faith in Jesus was “hate” speech.  His incarceration was later set aside by an higher court in the land.  But it does illustrate, in these days, that stepping out in faith and sharing the Good News of Jesus and salvation may one day be considered against the law.      

     

If that would become the case in our lives and we, as Christians, may be put in a boat caught in the storms of public discord.  USE THIS LINK  to see what Jesus’ disciples did in the deadly storms when Jesus came to them walking on the waters of the storm.   And when Jesus calls me or you to step out of the boat and come to Him in the storms of life, will I … will we …  step out in faith?  I’m praying we do, as did Peter.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to step out and come to You, Lord, today, .. even if we are in the storms of this life.  …  Amen
