My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Adam R Holz …  AT THIS LINK     told of an annual migration of moths to his area which caused his family and others of his neighbors to see them as pests; but they turned out to be a feast for many birds in the region where the ODB author lived.  


The moth migration illustrated how God provides for all in His creation, and certainly for mankind, God’s glorious creation.  Therefore, as today’s linked song and all the scriptures shared above attest, God provides ALL  our needs. And I, for one, praise Him today.   How about you?

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Lisa M Samra AT THIS LINK          wrote about Phillis Wheatley, the earliest published African-American poet, who was freed from slavery in 1773; … and  fighting for abolition of slavery, she wrote, … ”In every human Breast, God has implanted a Principle, which we call Love of Freedom; … It is impatient of Oppression, and pants for Deliverance; and . . . the same Principle lives in us.”

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Bill Crowder AT THIS LINK        made reference to a statement on the wall of the ODB author’s bank declaring that all the values of the bank can be summarized in one word … Courtesy. And our ODB author today wrote that the bank valuing courtesy was exemplified by the bank tellers as they handled customers EVERY day.


If my readers have taken in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures I’ve shared above, were you, as was I, convicted to do more to treat others the way Jesus would treat each one us, … and that is …  with courteous humility and kindness?  I can do much more to live as the linked song sings; … how about you?

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author - Leslie Koh AT THIS LINK     related a story of a friend, named Wendy, at work who felt left out when her boss passed out chocolates at work to all but Wendy.  She felt down about the matter until she learned that the boss left her out because she was pregnant and he felt that the chocolates would be difficult to digest in her condition.  


Sometimes, in life, there are circumstances we just don’t understand, … aren’t there?  Well, today’s ODB entry, and most certainly the linked song and the Reference Scriptures show us that even tho we may not fully understand our life at times, God is ALWAYS faithful to be with us and ALWAYS provide the strength we need from HIs faithfulness and His promises.  I need that faithful strength today; … how about you?
