My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Sheridan Voysey … USE THS LINK … relates a story about something the ODB author saw in a restaurant, … a young toddler who witnessed a pigeon landed close to her; … and she squealed with delight, trying to get the adults around her to see the bird pecking for food. But, the adults didn’t see what the child saw and just continued on with their conversation.
There are times - probably many - when God tries to reveal more about Himself to us; but in our “hum-drum” way of life, we just miss many things that God would love for us to see. I’m stopping to pray, right now, as I write this, that I’ll do all I can to see more of my God today; and let His glory be known to me. How about you? Would you like to see more of what God has to show off for us today?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for all You reveal of Yourself to me, especially thru Your creation and Your word.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for showing us more or Yourself thru Your word and Your creation. … Amen
