My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Winn Collier …  USE THS LNK  -    …  described how lumberjacks in the 19th century went into a grove of giant sequoia trees in California; and felled one of those trees, which was called “Mark Twain;” and sent samples of that giant tree to the American Museum of Natural History for others, who had never seen these trees, to he able to see and learn of their existence.

I’ve never seen one of those giant sequoia trees.  Perhaps some of my readers have seen them.  However, I certainly have faith that they exist … from photos or from reports of others who’ve seen the giant trees.   And in the same way, I’ve never seen Jesus; but I certainly have FAITH that HE not only existed; but He was The Messiah, Who came to save me - and all who have faith in Him as Lord.  Like Lydia Walker sings in the linked song, I have decided - BY FAITH - to follow Jesus (see photo).   How about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for giving me Your word to follow You to glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for showing those, who believe You are the Messiah, the way to follow You today, tomorrow, and forever.   … Amen
