… God calls on Moses and Aaron’s son to list all the men surviving who can fight for Israel who had come out of captivity in Egypt.

… God instructs Moses and Aaron’s son to list all the men over 20 years old who lived after a plague, … i.e., those who were descendants of those who came out of Egypt and were able to fight for Israel.

…The Apostle Paul teaches Timothy and all Christians that <b>EVERYTHING</b> that comes from the Bible, ie., God’s word, is pertinent to our lives and for following God’s glory.  

                            

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Patricia Raybon … AT THIS LINK  … Today’s devotional from Our Daily Bread uses the story of how a list was created from of Jewish employees from Oskar Schindler’s work place during WW2, which was under Nazi control.  And that list became the ticket to life for over a thousand Jews.  And then, after 2012, with the descendants of those on Schindler’s list, grew to almost 9000 who were saved.  Often we have a tendency, when we’re studying The Bible, to skim over the lists and genealogies in God’s word (see the Highlight passages).     

But God has those lists in His word for a reason, … to show that all life which leads us to Jesus is important; and if we read and believe in the truth of what the Apostle Paul taught to Timothy in 2Timothy 3:16-17, we should realize that EVERYTHING in God’s word, and yes, even those genealogies, … the listings of God’s people, … are important.  So, may I reinforce what we come here to do today; and that is why you find me here, starting every day in God’s word; … and that is to keep our lives on the trek where God’s word leads us every day and that is to eternal life.  Are you with me?                     

          

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … for giving me the words of life with come to me thru Your Word, Lord.     

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray, … again today, … that all reading here will join me, …  to stay true to God’s word - ALL OF IT - as our ticket to life.     … Amen
