My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Marvin Williams …  USE THIS LINK     … told of a safety audit conducted by the FAA in March of 2024, on the heels of a number of safety related failures in the airline industry, revealing that a number of safety regulations had not been followed by the aircraft manufacturers.   

That’s poor stewardship of safety regulations; and it’s much the same thing for us Christians if we ignore God’s safety regulations, which, of course, come if God’s word is ignored by poor stewards of God’s truth.  Personally, that’s why you find me here each day, doing all I can to adhere to and follow God’s manual for life, i.e., His word.   How about you, … are you with me? 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … thank You, for giving me Your safety manual to follow in my life.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … for helping us to be good stewards of Your truth thru Your word.     … Amen

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Tim Gustafson …  USE THIS LINK         … tells of a young girl, named Amina, who came to faith in Christ in a country where sharing such faith was illegal.  But she witnessed her faith to her brother, who, shortly thereafter, became ill and had trouble breathing.   However, when he prayed to his sister’s God, his breathing problem disappeared and he found faith in Christ like his sister.

If you have faith like Amina, what is holding you back from sharing it with others.  I, personally an dealing with some physical problems in my life like Amina’s brother; and I’m praying that I can step out - in faith - and be a witness for Christ today.   Are you with me?

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Monica La Rose …  USE THIS LINK         … tells of a Victorian age poem, written by Christina Rossetti, entitled  “A Better Resurrection,”, which describes faith in Christ transforming the author’s life from hopeless to hopeful by her faith in Christ’s resurrection and what it meant for the author’s life.

And I’m stopping to pray - right now as I write this - from the truth of the God’s word above as well as from Carrie Underwood’s singing of the old hymn linked above, that our surrender, as a life offering of faith to Jesus, will transform our lives FOREVER.   I’m there today, willing to give my all to/for Him.   How about you?

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from John Blase …  USE THIS LINK        … writes about singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot writing a song (linked above) entitled “Minstrel of the Dawn,” which sings of trying to find the dawn in the midst of darkness, which is also conveyed in another song by Steven Curtis Chapman (also linked above).    

Sometimes, life dawns on us with darkness, doesn’t it?   And as King David writes in Psalm 59, we need to - IN FAITH - and thru God’s word, seek God’s strength in order to see His glorious beauty instead of how Satan would want us to see his darkness.   Personally, i’m looking for God’s light to shine on my path each of the days that He gives me to wake and see the dawn.  How about you?   Are you looking for His dawning today?
