My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Mike Wittmer … USE THIS LINK … related the story of two young soldiers who came home from successful battle and were given desk jobs for their country. However both young me discovered that it became very difficult to stave off the temptation of being addicted to the internet.
Their homeland temptations reminded the ODB author of those “battle” faced by King David (see the Highlight passage) when he stayed home in the palace and relenting to the temptation to sin against Bathsheba (see photo) and her husband. And these days, as the young men did in the ODB story, so many in our world can easily be tempted and addicted to online temptations.
Personally, by applying God’s power and His promises through His word, as in the Scriptures provided and the linked song promises, I’ve been able to do battle against the forces of evil in our world. How about you? If you need help, contact me @ www.battleplanministries.org .
My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for Your strength in doing battle for Your glory.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for providing us with Your cleansing and protection in the battles we face in life. … Amen
