My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Anne Cetas  …  USE THIS LINK       wrote about a friend who needed to practice parallel parking for her upcoming driver’s test; and they thought of going to the ODB author’s church parking lot with some folding chairs to mark the space for the practice.  But the Pastor of the church brought out some rubber orange cones to better help my friend do her practice, showing that the church had exactly what it takes to help people do the practice driving.      

And the ODB entry today is an apt illustration of God’s church doing God’s work TOGETHER in this world in preparation for The Lord’s return.  And along with the scriptures shared above, all of us are challenged to be prepared and do all we can to do God’s work until He comes again.   That’s why you find me here - every morning - into God’s word as my GPS for the day.   Are you with me?   Let’s all BE PREPARED to be God’s “worker-bees” today! 

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for calling me to be one of Your workers today … and tomorrow.   

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for showing us how to work for Your glory everyday.    … Amen
