8 And when He took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.   

… The Lamb of God in heaven is shown to value the prayers of His people like incense stored in golden bowls.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, James Banks … AT THIS LINK …   shows how the little bird, the Clark’s Nutcracker (see photo), remarkably stores seed in thousands of locations, remembering all the locations to retrieve and consume the seeds when the snows come in the winter.         

But the memory of this bird, who so values and remembers those seeds, pales in comparison to how our God values and remembers the prayers of His beloved who pray faithfully for their (our) needs.  And if we really believed in God valuing and acting on our prayers, as we read in God’s word above, would we not pray more often and with more intensity. 

I’m convicted, how about you?           

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for hearing and storing up our prayers on Your heavenly throne of grace.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to pray more often, with a thankful heart, knowing that You, Lord, hear and value our prayers.   Amen
