My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Tom Felton -  AT THIS LINK -  relates the true story of the so-called “Ghost Army” in WW2, … an inferior and out-numbered force of Allied soldiers, who used inflatable “tanks” and loud speakers to convince the Axis forces on the Western front, … keeping the enemy from crossing the Rhine River.

And that 20th century story was reminiscent of the Bible story of Gideon, holding off and defeating a Midianite army, who vastly outnumbered the Israelite army in today’s highlight passage of God’s word.  Ever felt overwhelmed by your circumstances?  If I asked for “hands-up,” I’m pretty sure all of my readers today would raise ours, wouldn’t we?  But, if my readers are well grounded in faith of the Scriptures I’ve shared above, … as well as the rest of God’s word, … we, who believe in and serve an ALL POWERFUL God, won’t ever fall prey to the world - or even Satan - because - we know that we know that we KNOW that our God will ALWAYS be there to provide us with His strength when we Christians are dealing with our fearful flesh, a very hostile world, or the ploys of Satan himself.

Are you with me?  So, let’s do battle today, following our ALL POWERFUL GOD!

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your all powerful support, Lord, … today and into tomorrow.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to walk in faith, following You, Lord, into battle again today. … Amen
