My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Arthur Jackson -  AT THIS LINK -  relates the story of Patrick, a school employee, who normally didn’t carry cash, but one day felt led to put a five dollar bill in his pocket at work.  And at lunchtime that day Patrick overheard someone say that a young man wouldn’t eat that week at school if he could raise $5.00 for his lunches.   Well Patrick was so happy to provide the money in his pocket to help the young man.

And isn’t that a powerful life example of what God’s word (see Scriptures above) teaches us Christians?  In fact, those of us who claim Christ as our Lord were saved and are being sanctified to be ambassadors of Christlike good works, reaching out to help others whenever we’re given the opportunity.  I, FOR ONE, am striving to become a more willing and faithful ambassador for my Lord’s goodness today.   How about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me Your enabling grace to reach out and help someone today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to be Your ambassador of goodness today, Lord.. … Amen
