My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author , Mike Wittmer - AT THIS LINK - tells of the death-bed gathering of the family of a 17th century grammarian, Dominique Bourhours, who in his last breaths said, “I am about to—or I am going to—die; either expression is correct.” … And these were the last words of a men who had become totally committed to the grammar of what we say in life. How dedicated is the character of whom we’ve become in life and does that character honor God with a life lived to become more like our Lord?

Personally, … I’ve got a long way to go in my faith and growth of character to completely surrender to and become more like the character of my Lord. How about you?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, …for calling me to become more like You and walk more closely with You today … and even more tomorrow?

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to surrender and walk more closely in our faith to become more like You, Lord. … Amen
