My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Patricia Raybon … AT THIS LINK  -   tells of the trials and challenges the testing that the Wright brothers went thru before their victorious first flight (see photo).  And in fact their biographer, David McCullough wrote about the trials that the brothers went through, …  “Their joy was not getting to the top of the mountain. Their joy was climbing the mountain.” 

And the ODB entry today and the linked song, by Laura Story, reminded me that going thru the trials we face in life, … as did the Wright brothers in trying to fly, … we become blessed by the testing we endure.  So, again today, we are lifted up by God’s Spirit as we encounter and endure life’s trials and troubles.  So,  ... onward … AND UPWARD … we go!</b>   

 

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You , Lord, for leading us through the trials and temptations of life to lift us up for Your glory.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to allow You, God, to lift us up as we face the headwinds of life.     …  Amen
