My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Kristen Holmberg … USE THIS LINK … tells of a Vietnamese man who collects and repairs vintage church clocks, some of which are dated back as far as the 18th century, and they still keep good time. He says that he enjoy’s working with the clocks because they remind him of the value of our time in this life.
And by taking in the linked song and the Scriptures I was led to share today, I, … for one, … realize that I need to let God’s word show me how to use the time I’ve been given more wisely for God’s glory. I recognize, as in the photo, that I often hold on to the time I have too hard; and I need to do all I can to “LET GO AND LET GOD” … so that I recognize how to use the time I’m given for God’s glory. I’ll try today to do just that! Are you with me?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for giving me Your word to show me how to use YOUR time for YOUR glory.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … Too often we hold onto Your time and use it selfishly rather than seeking to use it wisely … for Your glory. … Amen
