My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread from Adam R Holz …  USE THIS LINK        writes of a time when he had rented a car to travel in Los Angeles and found himself driving more carefully than usual through the busy LA traffic because he was afraid to damage the rental car that was not his.  And the incident reminded the ODB author of the reality that our bodies, as Christians, are not our own; … but they have been purchased for eternity by Christ, dying on the cross to save those who believe in Him as Lord.

And that’s what the group, Casting Crowns, sings about in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above declare … that we, who believe in Christ as Lord … have become the Body of Christ and are called by God to honor The Lord with our own bodies.   And I’m going to do all I can today to do just that.   Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for giving me a body that I can use for Your glory.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for giving those of us, who’ve surrendered our lives to You, to become Your body in this world.   … Amen
