My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread from John Blase …  USE THIS LINK    shared about a successful business man,  named Shiro Oguni, who was impacted by seeing the isolation of men and women in a residence for adults with dementia.  And he put together a restaurant where the servers  all had memory challenges; and how therapeutic it was for those men women who were exposed to customers who all knew of their memory problems and were patient and loving with them.

And the ODB story and the devotional entry challenged me - and maybe you - to exercise more Christlike patience in dealing with others, especially those who really challenge our patience.  I, for one, really needed that exhortation. How about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for calling me, thru Your word, to be more patient with others.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for calling us to be more like You, with a spirit of love and mercy to others. … Amen
