My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Tom Felton …  USE THIS LINK    shared how Captain Tim Mullane was commissioned to sink the USS United States, … a huge ocean liner … to make it become a giant reef on the bottom of the ocean to help the ocean life thrive.   The ship was repurposed to glorify God’s creation in a vastly different way from what it was created to do.

And that’s the way God uses us, as the glory of His creation, … giving us HIs gifts to use for HIS purposes and HIS glory.   And if my readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures above we see that we Christians are gifted in special and unique ways to glorify our Lord with our service, using His gifts.  I pray that we all do just that today.   Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for calling me to use Your special gifting for Your glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for giving us these special gifts from Your Spirit to serve You today.   … Amen
