My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Katara Patton … USE THIS LINK ... told of how a prominent author, to promote the publication of his upcoming novel, promoted that he would use the name of the book buyer who donated the most to a designated charity. And the desire of readers to see their name in print brought many to the name-bearing auction.
And I, personally identify with this story, because in a book, written by a fellow Christian, the author, with my permission, used my name in the book he wrote about his testimony. And seeing my name in print did feel good; … but no way as good as knowing that my name, as a surrendered, born again Christian, is written FOREVER in God’s “Book of Life.” Is your name in His book?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You for knowing my name would be in Your book of life even before I was born.
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for calling those of us who believe in You as Lord - by name - for Your book of life. … Amen
