My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Monica La Rose … USE THIS LINK wrote about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, shortly after being imprisoned for opposing the Nazis in WW2, wrote to his parents and expressed his thankfulness to them, requesting that they send him books and paper, writing … “It’s a strange feeling to be so completely dependent on other people; but at least it teaches one to be grateful, and I hope I shall never forget that. … ”
And isn’t that true! We so often realize how grateful we are to others, … and especially to God, … when were so dependent for the help and grace of God through the help of others. Right now I’m feeling that support and strength and enabling grace from our Lord through the prayers and support of friends and especially from my wife. How about you? Where is the needle of GRATITUDE pointing in your life?
My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You for simply … EVERYTHING!
My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for Your enabling and saving grace … today and all days. … Amen
