My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Amy Boucher Pie  -  AT THIS LINK  -  told of a young British Soldier, named Scott, coming out a darkness in his life and being transformed by God’s saving and sanctifying grace.  And when he attended the 2016 Invictus Game, organized by Prince Harry from the UK (see photo), he discovered many of the participants needed to hear the truth of the Gospel … saving and transforming any who came to believe in and follow Jesus as Lord.  The Scriptures shared above certainly attest to that truth.   

And the ODB author used the story of this young soldier to illustrate how ANYONE who comes to surrender to Christ as Lord will be remade over in his/her life into the likeness of the Lord we serve and follow. And those characteristics, described in today’s Highlight passage, will become how we live.  That’s my goal.  How about you?    

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for transforming me into Your image as I surrender myself to follow You, Lord.           

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to let Your Spirit, Lord, make us over into Your likeness.  … Amen
