My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Nancy Gavilanes  …  USE THIS LINK      wrote of traveling to a favorite amusement park with her parents and seeing signs on the road which seemed to announce they were getting close.   However the signs were merely ads to show the family that they were on the way to the park.   These memories from the ODB author’s childhood showed that we often get impatient with God’s timing as we wait on Him to show us the way to go home.

Personally, that’s why my readers find me here each morning, waiting on God’s timing to show me where He leads me, through His word, all the way to His glory.   And I trust in His timing and His guidance.  How about you?     

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for showing me Your road to glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for giving us Your word to show us Your road to glory.  … Amen
