My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Brea author, Kenneth Peterson … AT THIS LINK … tells how VBS (“Vacation Bible School”) programs developed in Canada in the late 19th century and grew in America into the 20th century to help young people be exposed to and learn of God’s word to shape young minds and hearts to follow God’s truth and avoid false teaching in our lives. . 

And early in my new walk with the Lord, as a new, 40 year old, Christian, I had a mentor who led me into the discipline of studying and memorizing God’s word, … as the Scriptures above describe, … to help me stay on track in using the power of God’s truth to follow God’s will for my life.  And that’s the reason why I come to dwell in, … and be empowered by, … my journaling in God’s truth to start my every day. 

Oh how I pray that all my readers have found that being in and following God’s word gives us His empowering grace to deal with the challenges of life … EVERY DAY.                                       

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me the way to go - YOUR WAY, Lord - thru Your word.       .

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to seek out and follow Your will, Lord, thru Your word … each day. …  Amen               .
