…God’s Spirit, thru the Apostle John, promises to cleanse any Christian of their (our) sin when we confess and repent of the sin.

My Devotional Journal: Today's Our Daily Bread author, Xochitl Dixon … AT THIS LINK …   used the word picture of a homeowner needing to pay attention to ridding their yard of weeds (see photo), early and regularly, or the weeds would take over the grass in their yard.  

And the ODB entry today is a good illustration of how we Christians utilize the teaching of God’s truth (see Scriptures above) which gives born-again believers the power to confess and repent of our sins, … successfully and completely being cleansed of any/all sin as we grow in our relationship with our Lord and Savior.  

So, I pray we all let the blood of Christ, by our confession and repentance, take out all the weeds of sin, which may be invading our hearts, so that we can be cleansed and grow strong in our relationship with Christ.                                                   

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me the ability to be cleansed of any weeds of sin growing in my life.        .

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray that all reading here will join me, … to let Your blood, Lord, cleanse ua from any weed of sin growing in our lives.   …  Amen               .
