… The Magi were led to worship Jesus by a star in the East.

… Jesus, thru John’s revelation, declares that HE is the “bright morning star” to follow …  all the way to glory.                      

         

My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author , James Banks -  AT THIS LINK -    wrote about the author’s father teaching him how to find the North Star in the night sky, which can help anyone find the right direction to travel, … saying to the ODB author, “If you find that star, you can always find your way home.”

And at this time of year, those of us who try to find our way in life, are, in this Advent season, often led to the story of the Magi, who sought to find the “King of the Jews” by following that Star in the East, which led them to The Messiah.  And that story and the ODB entry lead me ask any who read with me here today:  What is our “North Star?” (see Photo)  And i’m here, today, declaring that Jesus, as shared in the Scriptures above, is my “bright morning Star.”  And I look to follow His word, which lights my path every day.  How about you?  What - or Who - is your North Star?           

   

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for being my bright Morning Star, every day, … leading me to Your glory.       

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to follow You always, Lord, as our bright Morning Star. … Amen
