My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Lisa M Samra -  AT THIS LINK  -   describes the essence of a beautiful sculpture of Jesus coming from an ornate branch (see photo) in a chapel high on a mountain in Sedona, AZ.  The sculpture represents God’s promise of The Messiah, coming from the root of King David’s family as The Messiah, promised by God’s word (see Scriptures above) of The Messiah, coming from the root of Jesse (i.e., King David’s family).  

And I”m stopping to pray  …right here this morning as I write, … that all who read these words believe in Jesus as The Christ and the Lord, … the One who came from the root of King David to save us all.  So, if you are reading here, I pray you are one of those our Jesus has come to save.  And I continue to pray, as Cece Winans sings (see linked song)  and prays for Jesus to come again - SOON -  to bring all who believe in Him to be with Him in heaven.            

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for coming from David’s root to save me.         

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to thank and praise You, Lord, for coming to save all who believe in You as our King and Lord.    …  Amen
