My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Monica La Rose -  AT THIS LINK  tells of the horrible fire in the 24-story Grenfell Towers in London (see photo), which burned down in 2017 killing 70 people.  Later, it was determined that builders of the residential towers ignored the highly flammable nature of the cladding used to cover the building’s exterior.

And the ODB author used this story to alert Christians to be careful to live genuine, Christlike lives, understanding life as Jesus warned His followers, to avoid following the examples of the Pharisees, who were leading God’s people astray with the way they lived (see Highlight passage), … ignoring the very Laws of God the Pharisees taught. Jesus called them HYPOCRITES; and charged Christians to live by God’s truth, shining God’s light into a very dark world.   But I am asking myself today; … and asking you, … if we’re living to be transformed by God’s Spirit today.   What do you think; … are we?

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for charing me to follow Your light of truth as I live to serve You, Lord.

My Prayer Today:  Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me seek to live our lives to be Your light, Lord, in this dark world.       Amen
