Sept 30, 2025 … Leap Of Faith …

Sept 30, 2025  … Leap Of Faith …

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...   PLEASE take in music and lyrics, from Martin Smith singing … A Leap of Faith,    showing Christians that they (we) must take a leap of faith to be saved from certain death.

Taking a LEAP OF FAITH ...

Highlight Passage: … John 11:43-44 … [NLT] …

8 God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.,

Salvation is God’s gift to mankind through HIS works on the cross and our faith in Him dying for our sins.

Highlight Passage (in context):  Ephesians 2:1-10  [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

As Christians Paul shows that it is our faith in God’s mercy and grace which allows us to follow Him to Glory.

Reference Passage: …  Proverbs 3:5-6 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

… Solomon shares God’s promise to show His way to any who will trust in and follow His way.

Reference Passage: … Romans 6:23  [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

… We would die in our sin if God had not, through faith in HIs Son given us a way to be saved thru HIs death on a cross.

Reference Passage: … Romans 11:6 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

Paul also teaches truth that God’s saving grace is His gift of mercy to sinful mankind.

Reference Passage: …  Acts 22:16 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

Paul calls for fellow Christians to step forward in faith and witness to their faith in Christ by being baptized.

Reference Passage: … Titus 2:11, 3:5-7 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

Paul teaches truth to Titus and all Christians that God calls them (us) all to faithfully follow the Lord as He gave us - thru His grace - a way to follow Him in faith all the way to glory.

Reference Passage: …  Hebrews 11:7 [NLT] … USE THIS LINK

The Author of Hebrews shows that Noah took a “leap of faith” in following God’s commands to build an ark to save Noah and his family.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread Author, Marvin Williams AT THIS LINK       reported on the saga of a Frenchman and his cat on a sailing vessel, going from an island off Alaska, bound for a harbor in San Diego, CA.  But along the way, his boat was capsized by an enormous storm and he had to call for the Coast Guard, who arranged for the sailor to be saved by an oil ship which was nearby.   But when the oil vessel came near the capsized boat, the frenchman and his cat had to take a leap of faith into the ocean for the oil boat to save them.

And the story, according to the ODB author, Marvn Williams, was an apt illustration of what all Christians must do - by taking a leap of faith - to believe in what Jesus did on the cross and to receive God’s wondrous gift of grace to save us from Spiritual death in our sinful condition.  Personally, that’s a “leap of faith” I, most certainly, have taken to be saved by God’s grace.  How about you?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for sending Your Son, Lord, to die, … for me, … on that cross.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … giving all of us, who believe in Your saving grace, and You giving us a way to be saved by our faith in You.   … Amen
