My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Bill Crowder … AT THIS LINK       … wrote about how Donald Campbell attempted to break  the world record for boat speed on the pristine and beautiful lakes in the Coniston Lake region in England, riding his Hydroplane, Bluebird K7, which turned into a horror as the boat crashed, killing Campbell (see photo).

But today’s ODB entry, the linked song, and God’s word shared above, show us that God desires to turn mankind’s tragedies into testimonies of God’s glory and His beauty, which comes from our ashes.   And isn’t that what you want for your eternity, i.e., living with God.   Well, my friend, it certainly shows me what lies ahed for me in glory.   Are you going to be with me there?   I sure hope so!   

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for turning our ashes into Your beauty. 

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for giving us Your beauty to replace our aches. … Amen
