My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Unpublished online - Winn Collier  … AT THIS LINK… wrote of how Hugh Lofting, the author of the whimsical and joyful Doctor Doolittle tales  to give children some light as the world emerged from WW1.  It was a good example of what the linked song and the Scriptures shine forth in God’s word shared above. 

And if my readers here today have invested a few minutes to take in the linked song and meditate a bit on god’s word, I think you will see, as I did, that we Christians are to become lighthouses of God’s  direction in life, rather than become lost in the darkness of this world or drown in our own selfish desires.   Personally, i’m trying - right here - as I write these words to shine God’s light for all to see  His His direction to follow.   Do you see God’s light shining on the path ahead?   Let’s all follow His light!

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … Lord … for shining the light of Your truth for me to follow today … and then again tomorrow.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, Lord. … for shining Your light thru  us to become Your lighthouses of your purpose in the darkness which surrounds us.  … Amen
