My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Patricia Raybon …  USE THIS LINK        … relates the true story of Maxey Filer, who in California, took the rigorous 3-day bar exam 48 times over 25 years before passing; … to become an attorney in his beloved home town of Compton, doing all he and his wife could to help the underprivileged.  In the meantime, Filer and his wife raised seven successful children.  

Filer is an example of the lessons learned from the linked song and the Scriptures shared above … for us, as Christians, to run the race of life with endurance, always following the Lord in all we think, say, and do. That’s why I’m here every morning letting God’s “GPS,” … i.e., His word, … guide me on His difficult road ahead.  Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for giving me Your strength to run the race of life ahead.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for showing us the way to go today and tomorrow and all the way to Your glory.   … Amen
