My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Arthur Jackson -  AT THIS LINK -   told of a Pastor, named Damien, whose pastoral schedule one day included visiting two dying members of his church in the hospital.  And when he had completed the day he noted that one room, that of a beloved man who had lived a life following God’s word, was peaceful and serene.  But the atmosphere of the other man who had lived a life or selfish, ungodly, choices was tense and filled with bitterness.

The Pastor’s visits illustrated clearly that we have choices to make in life and how we choose to travel will dramatically show us where we’ll end up at the end our road.  And for me, … and perhaps you … , we need to have a perfectly reliable “GPS” to help us find the way to make right - and Godly - choices so that we end up where God is calling us to go at the end of our road.  And that “GPS” for me has become - and will always be - God’s word.

So, after my readers have take in the linked song and meditated on the Scriptures above, I pray that we’ll be pursuing God’s way in life, rather than taking the fool’s way by following our own selfish direction.  Oh, how I pray - here today - that you agree and we’ll both use God’s Positional System (“GPS”) as we move on down His road today.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for showing me the way to go today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, … to use Your word, Lord, as our “GPS” today and then again tomorrow. … Amen
