My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread  Author, John Blase -  AT THIS LINK  -   tells how all of us have times when our memory fails us and how behavioral science has discovered ways to use times of rest and dedicated mental retrieval exercises to improve our recall.     

     

And the ODB entry today shows us that God, of course, knew this before the dawn of created time by commanding that His chosen ones (i.e., and that includes us now) to set aside special time (i.e., a Sabbath time0 to rest and remember God’s holiness and lordship. The question is … ARE WE?  … Do we, who believe and declare ”Jesus is Lord,” setting aside time (a true SABBATH) to honor God and remember His Lordship and Holiness.  I pray so!    

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for reminding me of Your invitation to rest and remember Your Lordship and Your Holiness.      

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying that those who read with me here will join me to surrender a special Sabbath time to rest with You, Lord, remembering Your holiness.  …  Amen
