Highlight Passage: …  1Corinthians 10:13 [NLT] …

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

The Apostle Paul assures fellow Christians that our God knows the trials and temptations we face and will not allow them to overwhelm us.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author -  Leslie Koh … AT THIS LINK  -  told of a private-hire driver, named Sydney, who loved the freedom of being his own boss; but recognized the danger of being tempted to do things which go against his own personal behavior code.  And this illustration calls readers (that’s us!) to question how we deal with the temptations of life

And that’s a challenge we face every day, isn't it?  And if you’ve been lifted up and encouraged by the linked song and have meditated on the truth of God in the Scriptures above, i’m praying that we all are TOTALLY surrendered to trusting God’s word to lead us to victory over temptation … just as Jesus did when he faced Satan in the wilderness (see Matthew 4:1-11) .  And the way I see it is … if that’s Jesus’ battle plan against temptation, it’s good enough for me. And that’s why you find me here every day, starting my day in God’s word, committing my way to follow my Lord to victory over temptation.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for giving us Your victory  tool - i.e., Your word - as I deal with temptation today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to trust God’s word in dealing with our temptations today. …  Amen
