My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Brent Hackett … AT THIS LINK - told of a family coming home from the doctors who were trying to diagnose the physical difficulties that the oldest boy was going through. And at home the family found a box, which had been delivered, with many handwritten cards with encouraging scriptures written on each card.
It lifted the spirits of the family to read the encouragement from God’s word with promises of God’s help and strength in this time of doubt and weakness. Can my readers see that’s why I’m here daily sharing what I can glean from God’s truth, which gives me God’s strength and hope to go through life’s daily challenges? I’m not strong enough to go forward on my own; but it lifts me up to know - from God’s word - that He’s ALWAYS with me and guiding me through this life, giving me His strength when I need it.
I pray all reading with me here today take in the linked song and the Scriptures above and be guided and lifted up today … from God Himself through His word.
My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for giving me Your word to lift me up and guide me every day.
