My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author - Jasmine Goh … AT THIS LINK     … told of how the movie The Bridge on the River Kwai led many fans of the Academy Award winning movie to Thailand to see the iron bridge in the film, only to discover that the river was not named the “Kwai.”  But  the river’s name was changed by the local government to align it with the movie title to draw the tourists to see the bridge.    

Isn’t that the way of the world?  Seeking and and following our own will rather that seeking to follow God’s way in life!   But as my readers take in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above, I pray we all are redirected in life to surrender our will so as to seek and follow the will of God, which we find in God’s word.  That’s my desire for the rest of my life.   How about you?  

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You, … forgiving me Your will to follow in Your word, Lord.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I praise You, … again today, Lord. … as we ALL seek to follow You, Lord, in carrying out Your will which we find in Your word..    … Amen
