My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Alyson Kieda …  USE THIS LINK   … told of an alcoholic, named Frank, who, after years of failures, finally quit drinking, attributing his sobriety to God’s help.  But he also employed many practical battle strategies to fend off the temptations to drink again. 

For decades, I’ve been called to lead a ministry to help Christian men to walk free from the temptation to view porn as an escape in life.   And our men have to develop a “battle plan” to follow Christ’s lead, using God’s word to deal with the temptations which they will encounter from Satan and the world.   It’s following the old Boy Scout motto: … “BE PREPARED!”  That’s been my motto ever since my Eagle Scout days.   How about it?  Is it yours, too?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for showing me how to BE PREPARED and to follow You all the way to glory.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for calling us to BE CAREFUL and to follow You.   … Amen
