My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread from Sheridan Voysey  …  USE THIS LINK      shared a story of working with a woman, named Madge, who was an incredible cook and gave the ODB author a sampler of her pea soup, trying to help the author to break thru his dislike of peas.  But the ODB author delayed sampling the soup until it spoiled, lying to Madge that he had tried the soup and loved it.  But later, our ODB author had to confess his lie to Madge, thinking she would by angry.   But Madge, showing deep forgiveness, said, … “Of course I forgive you. …  How could I not, when I know how much God’s forgiven me?”

And that, my fellow readers, is how all Christians should treat anyone who has wronged us and come to us seeking our forgiveness. Right now, if any of us is holding on to a grudge and needs to forgive someone in our life, I pray that the linked song and the Scriptures shared above, drive us to forgive that someone today; …  just as our Lord died on that cross to forgive us.  Are you with me?

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You …Lord, … for showing us how to forgive others as You have forgiven us.

My Prayer TodayOh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, for calling us to forgive others as You have forgiven all who believe in You as Lord.  … Amen
