My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Patricia Raybon …  USE THIS LINK    related a true story about a young Christian woman, named Rachel, who was deaf, and who searched for several years to find a church with a fellowship of like-minded believers who would come together to meet the needs of deaf fellow Christians.  It raises the question of whether Christ’s church does what is preached and taught in God’s word shared above; and that is to fellowship and to meet the needs of the body of Christ, led by God’s Spirit. 

Personally, my needs and growth in Christlikeness is being met by Church.   But if it weren’t, like Rachel in the ODB story, I would search until my spiritual growth was being shared by my brothers and sisters in Christ.   Are you with me on this?   

My Thanksgiving: … Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for leading me to a fellowship of Christians who truly meet my Spiritual needs.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for providing Your Church to help Your chosen ones to grow in Christlikeness.  … Amen
