My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from Karen Pimpo…  USE THIS LINK    related a personal story of sending out invites to over 200 people to a wedding; but they were disappointed when so few came to share in the occasion.   And it reminded the ODB author of the parable related by Jesus to the Pharisees, described in the Highlight passage above.   

And I am lifted up today, knowing that I have been invited to sit at God’s eternal table because I believe in what He, my Heavenly King, did for me in becoming my Messiah and inviting me to sit with Him at His banquet in heaven.   But to be sure, …when I take in the linked song and God’s word shared above, … I will respond to His invite because  I know and love Him as my King Jesus.   How about you?  Will you be responding to Jesus’ invite to sit with Him at His banquet table?    

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for inviting me to dine with You at Your heavenly banquet.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for inviting all of us who believe in You as Messiah to dine with You in Heaven. … Amen
