My Devotional JournalToday’sb Our Daily Bread  Author, Brent Hackett -  AT THIS LINK  -tells of a funeral director what it meant to be “born again;”  and the son of the man whose funeral was being arranged took the opportunity to share truth of being “born again”  from the Gospel account in John, Chapter 3.   


And if my readers have taken in the linked song and the Scriptures shared above, we, who have faith in the risen Lord, know that when we  believed in Jesus as Lord and Messiah, we were born again into God’s family to spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven.  Yes, we are “born again” … forever to be with our Lord in heaven.  So, can I sense my fellow Christians, joining with me in a a rousing “Hosanna” … and a “Hallelujah,” … praising our Lord for His wonderful mercy and grace.                   


My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for Your mercy, Lord, and being born again into Your Family.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Leslie Koh -  AT THIS LINK  -  tells of a young student, Jeremy, (see photo) who experienced hard trials in college, living in low income housing, but with an attitude of hope in Christ, Jeremy reasoned this way … “All I could do, was think,  …mI have a nice home to go back to in three years’ time, so I’ll stick with this and make the most of my time here.”  


I’m quite sure that some of my readers here today, are going thru some tough times.  Certainly all of us recognize and reason that there are tough times on the horizon of our lives.  But by taking in the linked song and living by God’s word, shared here today, no matter what we face, we, who have surrendered our lives to Christ, have His promise of an eternal life, living with our Lord, in new bodies that will be like our Lord.  That’s good enough for me; … how about you?

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Kirsten Holmberg -  AT THIS LINK  - tells of two women kayaking , trying to see whales; and were surprised by one of the whales breeching very near their Kayak (see photo).      


The ODB entry reminded the author of the story of Jonah who was running from God’s presence and His call for Jonah to go to Nineveh, … even  with God using a big fish to help Jonah get back on track to follow God’s call to save many of the Ninevites.  And that story, as well as the inked song and Scriptures above,  brings up the question if we are carrying out God’s call on our lives to serve and follow thru with God’s relentless love and power. He calls us again today.   Are we willing to come and follow His love and grace today?  .                


My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to use Your enabling grace to serve You again today..

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread</b></i>  Author, Winn Collier -  AT THIS LINK  -  - tells of the efforts of in some way  a group of Christians to provide food and shelter to needy ople in the Horn of Africa affected by severe extended drought.      


And that’s exactly what all Christians should be doing - when we can - to reach out and give to feed and provide shelter for those in dire need (see photo), which challenges us to sew and reap what we can to help these who need God’s help.  But are we being God’s helpers …  to reach out and help those in need?
