My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread from James Banks …  USE THIS LINK          shares a true story about Scott Thompson, a commercial fisherman who was swept off his boat into the waters of the Santa Barbara channel and thought he was going to lose his life swimming for help.  But during the swim he was nudged and helped along by some harbor seals who swam along side him.  He described the seals as his “angels,” giving him help and strength to save his life.   

And if my readers have taken in God’s word, which is shared above, I think - at least us Christians - would agree that our God does - in fact and faith - watch over all that He calls His own.  I happen to be one of those, and I believe God’s promises to even send His angels to watch over me;  … and you, too, … if You believe in Him as your Lord and Savior.   Are you with me?      

My Thanksgiving:… Oh, King Jesus, thank You … for watching over me.  

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, … thank You, Lord, … for sending Your angels to watch over us as Your children.   … Amen
