Reference Passage : … Romans 8:28 [NLT] … 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
… God, thru Paul, promises that EVERYTHING which we Christians experiences is for our good; so, why would we fear anything.

My Devotional Journal: Today's ODB author, Remi Oyedele, uses the glory of creation to show how we need not fear what transpires in this world because God is in total control of what He created. … The ODB author wrote: Scientists know our planet is precisely the right distance from the sun to benefit from its heat. A little closer and all the water would evaporate, as on Venus. Only a bit farther and everything would freeze like it does on Mars. Earth is also just the right size to generate the right amount of gravity. Less would make everything weightlessly sterile like our moon, while more gravity would trap poisonous gases that suffocate life as on Jupiter.

Interesting that we know so much about how perfectly earth was created to sustain what we see on this planet (see linked song); but yet so many of us are fearful of what is going on in the world or there are so many who deny that there had to be Creator which cared about His creation to have all of His world under His watch care.

Yes, we humans desire to understand and explain everything under the sun; but when will we understand, as Job finally did (see highlight passage), that God is God and he is [or we are] not. That’s why Jesus, the God-man, declared that God knows every hair on our heads and certainly values us more the sparrows which fly about (see Luke 12 passage). And 700+ years before Christ came to show us the Creator in the flesh, Isaiah declared, for God, that there are just some things we will never completely understand this side of heaven (see Is. 55:8-9); so, … why be fearful?

So, I pray that, as we move in to the new year/decade, we just acknowledge that God created all, and controls His creation for His glory and our well being as His family (see Rom. 8:28); and therefore, … we need not fear for anything.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... I pray, Lord, that all reading here will join me today, to praise our God for what He has created … for our good and His glory. … Amen
