My Devotional JournalToday's Our Daily Bread author, Amy Boucher Pye … AT THIS LINK   tells of teaching at a weekend retreat with other Christians in England where the focus of the retreat was to see if the participants had learned the truth that Mary had learned to worship our Lord (see highlight passage) when Jesus and His disciples had come to visit in the home of Lazarus, Martha, and Mary.  And being snowed in for the retreat, the participants learned that they (and we) must come to realize and live like Mary, seeking to worship and abide in Christ as her (and our) priority focus in life.

And as my readers take in the lovely linked song and meditate on the story of Mary at the feet of Jesus and the reference Scriptures above, I’m praying that all reading with me here - and certainly yours truly - will be convicted to focus on being at Jesus feet; and avoiding the ways of the world and the selfishness of our sin nature, to surrender and focus on abiding in Christ to worship Him with our lives.

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to worship at Your feet … ALWAYS.

My Prayer Today:: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me, … to seek to make You, Lord, as our worship and the MAIN THING in our lives.        … Amen
