June 21, 2024 … He said, “Go!”

Devotional Song: ... GO TO THIS LINK ...    Please take the time to take in this song with lyrics from Marty Goetz singing Hineni … poignantly singing of how our Lord calls His chosen to “GO” and witness to His name with the good news of God’s glory and grace.

26 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you.

The Apostle Paul reminds fellow Christians that few were wise or powerful in the eyes of the world when they were called to serve the LORD.

My Devotional JournalToday’s Our Daily Bread  Author, Arthur Jacks-  AT THIS LINK  relates the testimony of Augustus Toplady, who authored the timeless Christian hymn, “Rock Of Ages.” and who told of hearing James Morris preach and about whom he said,  “Strange that I . . . should be brought nigh unto God . . . amidst a handful of God’s people met together in a barn, and under the ministry of one who could hardly spell his name. Surely this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous.

And the ODB entry illustrates how any Christian, no matter their (our) education or worldly power, can - and will - be used of God if they (we) merely trust God and are willing “to go” and follow God’s great commission (see Scriptures shared below, especially Matthew 28:19-20).

And any/all of my readers today need to ask today - as am I - if we’re willing to say to God, as Marty Goetz sings in the linked song, “Here I am, Lord; … send  me!”

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for calling me to be Your witness again today.

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I’m praying today that those who read with me here will join me to GO and be Your witness to Your glory, Lord, again today.       … Amen
