My Devotional Journal: Today’s Our Daily Bread Author, Mike Wittmer -  AT THIS LINK  -  writes about a group of elderly Christian men who met weekly in a Bible study but admitted that even at 80+ years old that they had to combat lustful sexual temptations in their lives, … showing that fighting idols in our lives is something we all battle.   

And all I ask of my fellow Christian readers today is to take in the linked song and meditate on the Scriptures cited above, … asking ourselves what we need to do - TODAY - to cleanse ourselves of any thoughts or pursuits (i.e., idols) which get in the way of worshipping God with our surrendered service.   

My THANKFULNESS: ... Oh, Abba Father, thank You, King Jesus, … for giving me a way to worship You - and You alone - with my life.   

My Prayer Today: Oh Abba Father, ... King Jesus, ... . I pray. again today, that all reading here will join me today, …to rid our lives, Lord, of any/all idols drawing us away from worshipping You with our lives.         … Amen
